Blogger´s Quilt Festival 2009

This is one of my favorites Quilts. I first saw it on a McCalls Quilting magazine and I loved it. I have a friend who was going to the United States for a vacation and she brought me back the fabric.I made it and then decided I was going to embroider it. When I was small my grandma taught me how to embroider and I hadn´t done it for years. My grandma was one of my favorite persons in the world. So doing this quilt was like a tribute to her. Every time I see it, it reminds me of her. I have it in my livingroom as a wall hanging.
Thank you Amy for organizing such a wonderful Festival.
